Gall (France). Dr. Gall had a lot of gall. He favored localization of function in the brain, which is now know to be correct. Unfortunately this view spawned phrenology, which was a false science. . . .

Camillo Golgi (Italy). What's it all about, Golgi? Golgi was a brilliant histologist who shared a Nobel Prize with Cajal. He wrote books about the normal brain, as did Cajal.
